Is It Killing Us
Richard Cardinali

Kristin L. Otis
Abstract
In a society where so many new products and innovations are designed to save lives, some new products may be harming us. New products such as air bags and anti-lock brakes in automobiles are designed specifically to improve automobile safety, thereby saving lives. Other new products are not designed to hurt people, but their side effects may be killing people. Products such as hand held cellular telephones and video display terminals have been accused of causing serious harm to their users. A number studies and tests have been performed on these two products, and there is still no absolute answer as to whether or not they are causing cancer in their users.
